The Nook Project: The Bathrooms & Material Board for the Granny Flat

This project was a collaborative effort with Studio Five, focused on designing a vibrant and character-filled granny flat titled ‘The Nook.’

My contributions centred on the design of the powder room, bathroom, material board, as well as the initial space planning, concept ideation, and FF&E selections.

The design concept, The Nook, was about creating intimate, thoughtfully designed pockets throughout the space—areas that evoke comfort, individuality, and function. The client envisioned a home rich in colour and personality, so each room was approached with a focus on curated finishes, playful details, and a cohesive flow that connected each 'nook' to the broader design narrative.
