Pidgeon Close Apartment

This project is currently underway and features the concept designs for the apartment's living area, dining space, and custom-designed music nook.

The design concept centres around creating an airy, warm, and edgy atmosphere. To achieve this, creating an airy space was essential. I selected furniture that isn’t bulky or obstructive, allowing for air flow and maintaining an open, expansive feel. For instance, the lounge is raised on legs, allowing light and air to flow underneath, contributing to a sense of openness. The warmth comes through with soft, warm tones and soft materials, which add comfort and create a relaxing ambience.

The edgy side of the design is reflected through the use of metals and textures, especially black accents, which bring a modern and dynamic contrast to the softer elements of the space. This balance between lightness, warmth, and boldness creates a unique and inviting environment that feels both spacious and stylish.

The scope of work for the full project includes:

• Furniture and decoration design

• Finishes selection

• Custom joinery design

• Lighting design

• Wardrobe and window treatment design

Each element is thoughtfully chosen to enhance the concept, ensuring that the space remains functional while exuding style and comfort.
